CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Augmedics, a pioneer in augmented reality (AR) surgical navigation, today announced the arrival of its newest member of management to support the accelerated growth of the company’s revolutionary AR-driven xvision® system. company.
The company announced the appointment of senior medical technology executive Kevin Hykes as president and chief executive officer. Hykes is a 30-year medical device veteran with expertise in bringing new technologies to market and scaling high-growth businesses, and significant experience in creating value for investors. His appointment follows that of CFO Raj Asarpota, himself a distinguished 28-year industry veteran, as well as the oversubscribed $36 million Augmedics Series C led by HIG Capital, Revival Healthcare Capital. and Almeda Ventures in March 2021.
